Hi, Brilliant!
My name is Ryan, and this is my interactive cover letter. I've been working with Elm professionally for over 5 years, and I'd be a great fit for the Product Engineer role at Brilliant!
I'm hoping to use my frontend experience to help our team create responsive, animated, interactive experiences like the one below!
Ryan's Daily Commute
When Ryan visits the , he always travels .
It takes him about 1161.2 hours, but he arrives in style.
Hint: Select an office or travel method to see how it affects Ryan's commute!
I recently published an Elm package called @ryan-haskell/elm-3d to help folks create interactive 3D apps and games. It's still a work in progress, but you can do some pretty cool stuff with the current release! It would be great to apply my WebGL skills to help power future Brilliant courses.
A New Perspective
The camera has a big impact on the look and feel of a 3D scene.
Hint: Change the settings below to see what happens!I designed and implemented this using only Elm and CSS. I hope it gave you a good sense of my UX and frontend skills. I'm not a designer, but I deeply care about creating reliable products and including delightful features like dark mode support.
